Tour of the Redwoods Package

The trees in the Redwood Forests of California’s North Coast are the tallest and oldest living things on our planet…and one of the world’s wonders! Use the Victorian Inn as your base to visit them. You will be awed by their magnificence.

Day 1: Arrive before 4:00, check in and relax with local wines & cheeses in front of the fire. Later, enjoy your complimentary dinner at one of the three restaurants we’ve listed.

Day 2: Following breakfast, enjoy a self-driving tour of the southern Humboldt Redwoods via the Lost Coast Loop. This is a 100 mile round trip adventure during which you will traverse five different eco-systems, and viewing scenes you could not have imagined. Road & Track authors called it “what may be the most scenic drive on the planet”. Stop and enjoy your picnic basket along the way, perhaps in Founder’s Grove. As you complete your circle, you’ll be heading back towards Ferndale on the world famous “Avenue of the Giants”, and go through the villages of Scotia and Rio Dell. At 4:00 it’s again time for wine and cheese at the inn. Then enjoy dinner, again complimentary, at one of the restaurants listed below.

Day 3: Today you will travel north to the Redwoods National Forest, passing the village of Trinidad and many beautiful, unspoiled beaches along the way. The wild Roosevelt Elk will greet you as you get there. You may choose to visit Fern Canyon, where Lost World and parts of Jurassic Park were filmed. Ladybird Johnson Grove is also a favorite. Once again, you’ll have your picnic lunch and selected wine to enjoy whenever you wish. This trip is approximately 140 miles round trip, and is also self-driven. At 4:00 join us for our now familiar wine, cheese and dinner as before…your choice!

If your stay finds you in Ferndale during a performance at the Ferndale Repertory Theater, we will provide you with complimentary tickets to the evening event.

Honeymoon Packages

Honeymoon Packages can be arranged for one, two, three or more nights at the regular rate for the room chosen. The One Night Package includes a split of champagne and a selection of our superb locally created chocolates and truffles. The Two Night Package will add your choice of one of our four CD selections to help carry the memories of your very special time away with you. And the Three Night Package will add a small framed water color print of The Victorian Inn to the previous gifts...which will undoubtedly end up as one of your treasures! The only requirement on your part is that it must truly be your wedding day or a part of your honeymoon.

Mid-Week Getaway Package!

This option is available from November through April and is valid from Sundays through Thursdays, excluding holidays. Stay two or three nights in the same room with the first night at the regular rate. The rate for the second night will be reduced by 25%. Then, as long as you're here, stay the third night for only half price. See...we want you to stay as long as you can! This is not available to "Walk-Ins" so please request the Mid-week Getaway Package when you make your reservation.
This option is not valid for use with The Emily Rose Room or Jessica’s Haven.
